“Why Awake” – Album Review

Why Awake is a mature, soulful, gorgeously visual album, one where modern graphics mixed with heartfelt lyrics captivate the soul. 

There is a fine art to delivering bangers. From Kanye’s Jesus Walks to Jay-Z’s unimaginable category of albums, they require substance and in-depth concepts of mastery.  Slider – the first single from the long-awaited group’s album Why Awake – provides a great summer chill vibe for any occasion. SoSo is one of the finer songs to date. There’s a seductive sunset vibe to the accompanying arrangement of the uplifting beat.  It’s safe to say, their music as a whole, might not sound quite as trendy as some songs released this summer. 2018 EB
